Billy Essick-Intro

My name is Billy Essick, I come from a small town of Billings just south of here about 30 minutes. Everybody knows everybody in my town, not many things happen without people knowing about it. I live in the country on a small farm, where have my own beef cows, I also work on a Dairy Farm just down from my house. Love being in the country and being on a farm wouldnt have it any other way. My brothers and I used to rodeo, I rode bulls while my littlest brother rode sheep and my other brother rode calves. I hated to quit but baseball was looking up for me and being hurt from riding all the time was setting me back. I am the oldest of 4, 16 year-old brother and a 11 year brother and I have a 3 year old sister. I was the class clown in school, was member of the baseball and basketball team, FFA, and lots others. I went on to play college baseball at Jefferson College in St. Louis. I was a catcher, got to visit and play in alot of different places but my favorite was Mississippi which is a beautiful place. I had a blast love baseball until I was injured during a game. Dislocated my shoulder while diving back to first where later found out I tore my labrium in my shoulder. Surgery later followed and out for a year becuase of other complications with my shoulder. I hope to get back at it soon. Im quiet until we make friends then I wont shut up, I like to joke alot, but I can be serious when needed. Thats all me questions ask!

That's neat, I too was on a baseball team. However, I had a different view of it than you did.

My husband used to live in Mena Arkansas and was in FFA for a little while.I have absolutely no farming experience (except for my nintendo ds game that I play called harvest moon, haha. I know thats not the same at all), but I think it could be pretty cool(and hard) working on a farm. I hope you get back into your baseball.

Baseball is a great sport. I know the feeling all to well when it comes to getting hurt but it only makes us stronger(well its suppose too) lol

I have a cabin on Table Rock Lake and its just a little community called Buttermilk Springs where everyone knows everyone and everybody still waves when you pass by so I can relate to your small hometown.

I went to school with some Essicks in Clever, but that was back in the 80,s. It kind of sounds like you need to be careful. Good luck with school.

I am also from a small town. Sometimes it is a good thing and most of the time it is a bad thing, because once something happens everyone knows about it.
