Devan McCallister - Intro

Hi my name is Devan McCallister. I grew up in the bootheel of Missouri in a small town of about 5000 people called Malden. I went to school their from first grade until i graduated. Through i high school i played football and ran track. My senior year i made second team all conference on defense. In track i ran the 800 meter race and pole vaulted. After i graduated i then moved to O'ffalon, Missouri. There i attended my first year of college at St. Charles Community College. After that i moved to Seymour, Missouri and am currently attending classes at OTC in Springfield.

Outside of my academic life, I enjoy playing the guitar or at least trying to play. I have been with my current girlfriend Britney for a little over a year and a half. She is currently living with me and attending cosmetology school in Springfield.

For the most part i enjoy all types of music. It really just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I like Anything From Hank Williams Jr. to Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Well Devan I am glad you like a wide variety of music because I also like a wide variety. I also ran the 800 meter race when I was in high school as well.

I like people who have a wide variety of music they listen to. It shows they keep an open mind and won't turn down something based on the genre. Kudos sir, kudos.

That's awesome that you play guitar! I think that I am in the same boat as you as far as "trying" to play though sometimes. What brought you down from St. Charles to Springfield?

Love the Red Hot Chili Peppers!! Sounds like you and your girlfriend have a lot of positive things going on. I have been a stylist for almost nine years.. so I know can relate to both of your endeavors. It appears you are a really athletic guy! Will you study something involving sports?

Hey Devan! This is Cody I am the guy who was waiting to figure out why nobody ever showed up for our class in ICW room 231. At least we did't have to make a change to our schedule. I've never heard of Malden. I wonder what its like? Good luck this semester.

Isn't Malden down there by Kennett and Haiti, and Caruthersville? I got family in Kennett. Well glad you made it to the city of Springfield. I hope your time at OTC is enjoyable. Good luck.

I admire you for being involved in all those strenuous sports activities. I really wish I joined track, but I was lazy back in high school. Proud to say i'm a fiend for a good exercise now!
