My name is Justin Cody Middleton. I go by Cody which makes coming to new classes difficult sometimes because you have to notify professors to change your name on their roster. I have lived in Springfield all my life. Sometimes I find it to be mildly annoying. However, when I go away for any period of time, I find myself missing home.
I am 27 years old and I am a second year OTC student. I really have enjoyed college so far. It keeps me busy and my mind working. I also am a server at the Ruby Tuesday on South National Avenue. I just got the job about a month ago and its still fairly new to me. Working and going to school at the same time is going to be a formidable challenge for me. My last three semesters I didn't have a job so it was only school. Fortunately, I only have to work part time which will hopefully still give me enough time to complete all my homework assignments.
In my free time I am a bit of a nerd. I play the card game magic the gathering which is an expensive hobby, but I enjoy it thouroughly. Thanks for taking time to read this about me. I hope we all enjoy our semester!

I can totally relate on the name front, during high school I never used both my last names. So I always forget to write both of them on my college work! Why don't you go by Justin?
Hi Cody! My first semester in college I took 18 hours and worked between 40-50 hours a week,so I can really understand what you mean.Its tough but as long as you remember how worth it will all be,it keeps you motivated.Good luck :)
Going to work and school has also been a challenge for me. I work full time for Bass Pro Shops corporate offices on Kearney. I'm cutting back my hours for school, but I know it will still be rough.

And even though working and going to school is hard, it's just better to focus on homework as soon as you get out of class... that's how I got through last summer semester. Good luck!
I can only imagine what life is like going to school and working. I have been working but this wil be my first semester doing both as well.
I work full time and go to school full time, so I understand the toughness you're going to be going through. Also, I play Magic, so perhaps sometime we can have a match or two
Nerds unite lol. Although I don't play Magic, it's always fun to have a nice side hobby like I do when I game with my friends. I mostly play consoles and the like when I don't work or study. What else is there to do. A life, what is that? I also work full time so I know what it is like to balance work and school. Stay tough, and we will persevere my friend.
I have not heard anybody mention Magic in a long time. that was one of my favorite card games at the time my favorite card is actually two cards that make up one creature. Also when it comes to the name, change it legally, as long as you are not hiding from creditors you should be in the clear to make it Cody I think. But that's just me. Anyway it is good to know that there are nerds in this class.
