Emily Eyberg-Intro

My name is Emily Eyberg, I was born in Rolla MO,but have moved to a few states since I was nine.I've lived in PA,TN, and moved back to Missouri almost six years ago. This is my third year in college; I spent my first year at OTC, second at MSU and now I'm back to OTC.My plan is to get my AA in the Spring and then transfer to Drury in Rolla in the fall of 2012. I am going for a degree in Elementary education, and hopfully will be certified to teach by the fall of 2013. I've worked a few different jobs, but being a part time nanny was probably the most fulfilling. I got my first job as soon as I was able to,and began work as the 'sammich girl' at Subway.I worked for Subway for two years, and it was usually a love-hate relationship. However, now I feel that since I have experience in food service I know how stressful it can be to be on the other side of the counter. Now, I have a couple of families whom I babysit their children.A few of the kids I've been around since they were first born and are now four and five years old.I've never had cable TV(even though I do love Bones and South Park);I was homschooled;I love roller derby;I only drive a stick shift car;I have one tattoo;I prefer the country to the city;I am a Harry Potter fanatic. Also,I'm proud to say I'm helping re-build a hot rod.

Hi Emily
It's a pleasure to meet someone who is as used to moving as I am. It's also nice to see one who wants to teach liking South Park and having a tattoo. I would love to see it sometime since tattoos are what I plan on doing.

That is awesome about the hot-rod. I want to go into elementary education as well. South Park is amazing.

Sammiches!!! I love sammiches. But if there is anything this world needs more than sammiches, it is trustworthy people to care for children. I used to watch my sisters three kids on weekends for quite a few years so I salute you for having the courage to get into a field of that sort.

You seem like a very well rounded person! I wouldn't know the first thing about working on a car especially a hot rod! I think that is really awesome to be able to work on cars. It will probably save you some major bucks in the future! I love watching South Park though I hardly have time to watch anything as of late. So is the hottie signing your shirt Dierks Bentley?

Hey I just wanted to say I am a great fan of South Park as well, so you are ok in my book. I too have a couple of tatoo's and love hot rods. My father was into muscle cars so we always had one or two when I was coming up and I miss the cars of yesteryear.....

First off, I love your picture you posted! Dierks is amazing! One of my friends got past security and went into his dressing room when he was in town a couple months ago and talked to him for a while! crazy! Good luck with this semester.

Ian-If you really are interested in being a tattoo artist, you should look into apprenticeships at Kalidescope, under Jason(he's the best)

Annie-What grade do you want to teach?

Hannah-It has been really welcoming to be here :)

Duston-Thank you,I think its pretty important too ha.Also, sammiches were fun,but having dreams about our drive-thru,not so much.

Krissi-South park is pretty much amazing.Thats really cool that you and your dad were into muscle cars.

Karyssa-Ha! That is awesome! I was pretty star struck..As you can tell.

Jordan-I can understand that.Honestly it was a lot of fun,and my bosses were great.

Scott-I hope so too for you! I've seen quite a few performers, thought Rob Zombie took the cake, turns out Dierks is even better live.
